John,
Words cannot express how very sad we were to learn of Kate's passing.
She was such a wonderful woman and friend to all those that she came in touch with. Jim and I have many wonderful memories of time spent with both of you. BC football games and times spent on Cape Cod when the boys were young, are just a few.
I know that she is at peace and looking down on everyone with her wonderful smile.
Please know that you are in our thoughts.

Kate was first grade teacher to all four of my children (I requested her after my first child had her). She was the absolute best teacher, so loving and nurturing. I enjoyed volunteering in her class over the years and we became good friends. We kept in touch over the past 25+ years updating each other about our families. She was a very special lady and she will be greatly missed! I am so sorry for your family’s loss.
