Born in Scituate, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Charles and Natalie (Dwyer) Moore. A lifelong New England resident, he graduated from Bentley University. His career in software spanned more than 30 years at various companies, including Apple, Oracle, and Blackboard. When he wasn’t working, he could be found on the golf course with friends or entertaining people on the guitar as part of his band Blackwood.
He’s a father of two sons, Michael and Matthew, and two grandchildren, Bodi and Sydney with another grandchild on the way. He’s also survived by two brothers, Larry and Jeff, and one sister, Kathy.
The water was always important to him and as such we’ll have a celebration of life held at the Moore’s house on July 11th at 15 Marlboro St, Newburyport, MA 01950. If you have any questions please reach out to his son Mike at [email protected].
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kim’s memory can be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (https://bit.ly/mjff2026).
