

Skip was born on November 6, 1946 to Lloyd J. Marshall Sr. and Alice (Wesson) Marshall in Boston, MA. After a childhood in Scituate, MA, he proudly served in Vietnam as an Air Commando, the elite Air Force Special Operations Unit, from 1966 to 1969. Serving as an aerial gunner in over 300 combat missions, he earned the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal. He refused the Purple Heart believing his many fallen comrades “gave all”. He continued his patriotic passion serving as a Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla Commander at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for several years.
He graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1972 and went on to become an entrepreneur in the media field publishing travel (“Shipmates”, “Maritime Summer”) and life-style (“Seacoast Life”) magazines in New England and Atlantic Canada. He served as Director of Communications and Advertising in several business enterprises.
In 1975 he married his wife of forty-six years, Eileen (Kuzmicki) Marshall and together they raised three children in North Hampton NH. He is survived by his wife Eileen, his daughter Shannon, his son Kevin and wife Katie, their children Kevin Jr. (KJ) and Riley of Fremont, NH; son Stephen, his wife Kara and their four children, Tyler, Lance, Faith and Parker of Mesa, Arizona. He also leaves three sisters Carol Ann Conners of Ashburn, Virginia, Paulette Harlow of Kingston, MA, Jean Marshall of Marshfield, MA and one brother John Marshall of Centerville, MA along with several nieces, and nephews and cousins.
Skip was known for his giant personality, unmatched wit and extraordinary sense of humor. His immense love of family and his Catholic faith were paramount in his life.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 9:00am at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate Harbor, MA with burial following at 11:00am at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury, MA.
