Lucien Lou H Rousseau

Lucien graduated from Scituate High School and received his bachelor's degree from Northeastern University. He retired from John Hancock after many years in the computer programming division. Lucien loved the outdoors, was an avid gardener, and enjoyed fishing and other activities with family and friends. He coached girls’ and women's softball in Quincy and was a member of the South Shore Senior men's softball league. Lucien enjoyed books, music, and dancing, and had a wide range of interests, that included collectables and antique cars.

Loving father to Gabrielle Rousseau Roegner of Hingham, Genevieve Humez-Rousseau of Quincy, and loving grandfather to James Roegner, he is also survived by brother, John Rousseau and family of Scituate.

A service will be held Thursday, October 10, 2013, at 3pm, First Trinitarian Congregational Church, 381 Country Way, Scituate, MA.

A reception for family and friends will be held in the church hall immediately following the service.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Thomas Crane Public Library in Quincy or the Quincy Animal Shelter.
