Born on June 30, 1977 in Stoneham, MA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Franciose and Marilyn (Kane) Franciose. Lynne grew up in Framingham, MA and was a star athlete at Framingham High School before playing volleyball for and graduating from St Anslem’s College in Manchester, NH. Upon college graduation, Lynne worked as a reporter for the MetroWest Daily Newspaper in Framingham and loved writing about community events and local news. She then transitioned into a 15-year career as a Retirement Services Project Manager and Communication Consultant for Fidelity Investments and Alight Solutions.
Lynne spent her childhood summers on Cape Cod in Dennis, MA. This experience inspired her love of spending quiet time in unspoiled nature, especially around the water. She enjoyed walks through the woods along the North River (Scituate) and its estuaries, exploring the beaches of the North Shore and taking early trips to Cape beaches to watch the sunrise.
She was a lover of the Arts in many forms. An avid concert goer, she had a gift to always secure the best tickets to Phish, Tori Amos, or one of her favorite Heavy Metal bands from her high school days. Lynne also appreciated and collected paintings, sculptures and concert posters and enjoyed displaying them in her home. She loved watching great movies and theater productions, appreciating everything from the films of Alfred Hitchcock to the Wicked musicals. As an English major in college, she also had a deep love for poetry and literature.
The thing that Lynne cherished most was her role as Mother to her daughter, Madeleine. She always took the chance to expand her horizons by taking her on amazing trips to Paris, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Aruba. She shared her love of music and theater by taking her to many shows over the years and fostered a passion for literature and poetry that has inspired Madeleine to also major in English at college.
Lynne is survived by her daughter, Madeleine, her brother and his wife, Brian and Brandee Franciosi of Foxborough, and her nephews, Bennett and Brandon Franciosi, and her longtime partner, Thomas Siegel of Newton.
There will be a celebratory memorial service at the First Parish Unitarian Church at 42 Highland Ave. in Cohasset at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, July 24, 2026.
