Margaret Covell Evans – of Marshfield formerly of Norwell, passed away February 3, 2016 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late William M. Evans. Devoted mother of William E Evans, Christopher Evans, Geoffrey Evans, Andrew Evans. Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Margaret was a graduate of Emmanuel College class of "53". She earned her Master’s Degree and was a Boston school teacher. Margaret belonged to the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites and spent much time with her beloved Carmelite sisters in Roxbury as well as her Carmelite family in the Brighton monastery.
A funeral Mass will take place on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate. Burial will be at a later date.
