

SULLIVAN, Marion “Louise” (Cameron) of Scituate and Arlington, passed away surrounded by the love of her family and many friends at Life Care Center of the South Shore on Friday, March 22, 2013, at the age of 84. She is the wife for 46 years to the late James “Jim” E. Sullivan.
Louise was born and raised in Arlington, MA. She was the daughter of the late Lester Cameron and Margaret Morris Cameron and sister of the late Dorothy Visco and Virginia “Marjorie” Busa. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Sullivan-Hanley, son-in-law, P.J. Hanley, Jr. and a menagerie of adopted grand pets. She, too, is survived by beloved nieces, a nephew and loving social circle of friends that date back to her student days at Arlington High School.
Louise worked at the Robbins Library in Arlington for thirty-two years. She loved to travel with friends, bike ride with Jim and she was active in Senior Center classes and events upon retirement. She loved gardening and caring for the family’s adopted pet beagles. A period of poor health led her to giving up her home on Aberdeen Road, moving to Youville House Assisted Living in Cambridge, MA and finally to Life Care in Scituate where she received exemplary care.
Friends and Family are invited to a Celebration of Life at the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church, 330 First Parish Rd, Scituate on Sunday, April 7th at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Medford St., Arlington on Friday, June 21st at 12PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Scituate Library Foundation, 85 Branch St, Scituate, MA 02066 and/or an animal rescue organization of your choice.
