Mary Santia, 94, passed away on February 13, 2022. Mary lived her entire life in Scituate, in her childhood home on Studley Royal Road. For decades, Mary and her sister Lillian lived together and joyfully welcomed family, friends, and visitors. Mary was a woman of great strength with a personality that was at once both immensely stoic and incredibly kind. A woman of faith her entire life, Mary was a parishioner at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish in Scituate and later St. Anthony Parish in Cohasset. Mary worked for years in Boston and enjoyed traveling with her sister, with trips from Virginia to Venezuela. Mary is predeceased by her parents Anna and Leo Santia, her beloved sister Lillian, and her brother Joseph and his wife Ann Santia. She is survived by several loving nieces and nephews, and countless great and great-great nieces and nephews. We thank God for the gift of Mary and the Santia family, rejoicing that they are all united once more in the Kingdom of Heaven.
