GLYNN, Matthew R. “Bob” Jr., of Scituate passed away peacefully April 6th, 2010 at age 82. Born, raised and lived in Scituate, Bob was part owner of Bearce & Glynn Tile and Floor Covering until retiring in 1990. He was also a Korean War Veteran serving from 1950 - 1952 and the Army Reserve until 1956. Beloved husband of 54 years to Barbara A. (McCarthy) Glynn. Loving father of Sharon Pananos and her husband Michael of Gilbert, AZ, Robert F. Glynn and his wife Nora of Norwood and Sandra Glynn and her husband Richard Bishop of Henderson, NV. Grampa of Mara, Megan and William Glynn, Matthew and Brian Pananos. Beloved Uncle of Paul (Pete) Spencer of Scituate. Brother of the late Gertrude Spencer and Edna Valine of Scituate. Funeral from the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd., Scituate on Saturday, April 10th at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the Nativity Church at 10AM. Interment to follow at Cudworth Cemetery, Scituate. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4PM-8PM.
