Michael Sheehey

Mike was born on March 22, 1972 in Piscataway, NJ to Joanne Ducott of Weymouth, MA and the late Mark E. Sheehey of Scituate, both originally from Northampton, MA. Mike is survived by his children Kayla Sheehey 19, Christian Sheehey 16, and their mom Tara MacLean of Marshfield, MA, his sister Karen DeWolfe and her husband Eric of Westwood, MA, and their daughter Annabel. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. Especially his Uncle Eddie who was like a brother to him.

Mike enjoyed so much about life. He loved his kids with all his heart and beamed with pride watching them play sports. When he was not doing that, he would have chosen to be on a golf course over most anywhere else in the world. When he wasn’t playing, he was caddying, and loved giving a good player an accurate read. Upon graduation from Scituate High School in 1990 where he made so many lifelong friends, Mike went on to college. He soon knew he was destined to work outside and spent the rest of his career in the sun. He will be remembered for his quick wit, his never ending arsenal of jokes, a laugh that was unmistakable, and for his giant heart. He will be missed by so many. We take comfort that he is with his Dad and safe in His care.

A visitation will take place on Monday August 30, 2021 from 4-8pm at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate.
