Monahan-Paul C. Sr, passed on August 14th, 2010 age 76 at the Carney Hospital, Dorchester. Loving husband of Mary M. (O’Brien). Born and raised in Winthrop, he graduated from Malden Catholic High School. Paul enjoyed sailing and was past President of the Scituate Beach Association. Devoted father of Ellen Holly of Elkhorn, WI, Paul C. Jr. (Terry) of Franklin, Patricia Sheerin of Hingham, Susan Monahan of Scituate and Mary Marckini of Whitman. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Brother of the late George F. Monahan. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony’s Church, 10 Summer St, Cohasset on Wed, Aug. 18th at 10:30AM. Burial will be private and visitation omitted. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Scituate Etrusco, 1 Common St, Scituate, MA 02066 and/or Scituate Animal Shelter, 780 Chief Justice Cushing Highway, Scituate, MA 02066.
