Robert Donald Baggs

Baggs, Robert "Bob" D.- Age 86, of Scituate passed away on December 14, 2017. Bob was the loving husband of the late Florence "Flossie" Baggs. He was the son of the late Albert and Jessie Baggs originally from Bay Roberts, Newfoundland. Cherished father to Catherine Baggs, Judith Patridge, Bobbie Arico and the late Elizabeth Wadsworth. Beloved grandfather to Angela Wadsworth of Carver, Robert Wadsworth of Plympton, Emily Hermanson of Halifax. Great Grandfather to Bryn, Carter, Robert, Charlotte and Aiden. Bob was the youngest of 7 siblings.

Bob was a construction worker for EF Hauserman for years before he retired. Following his retirement he was the assistant harbormaster in Cohasset for 17 years. He was also an avid fisherman, aboard his boat "The Five Queens", named for his wife and 4 daughters out of Cohasset. He and his family caught over 60 giant Blue Fin Tuna. Bob enjoyed building and flying model airplanes and was a member of the Wingbusters Flying Club.

The family would like to thank all the loving staff at the Cardigan Nursing and Rehab for all their wonderful care while Bob was there.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday December 20 from 4-8 pm at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate, Ma.

Funeral Service to take place at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 21 at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Scituate Animal Shelter.
