Walter A. Petrocelli

Walter was born and raised in Revere and graduated from Revere High School, class of 1940. Graduated from Northeastern University, class of 1944 majoring in Engineering.

During the years of 1944 and 1945, he served in the Air Force as an instructor of B-29 Gunnery System.

In 1951, he opened and operated Petrocelli Floor Covering in Marshfield and retired in 2005.

Walter was past president of Kiwanis Club in Marshfield and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Scituate.

Walter is survived by his sister Gloria Crotty of Lynnfield, devoted niece Jeanette Schultz of Scituate, his brother-in-law William T. Bonomi of Brookline and other nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Viola Petrocelli.

Visiting hours will be on Monday, Oct. 20th in the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate from 3pm-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary’s of the Nativity, 1 Kent St, Scituate on Tuesday, Oct. 21st at 10 am. Burial to follow in Union Cemetery, Scituate.
