Wendy spent her early years in Florida before growing up in Milton, Massachusetts, where she was an exemplary student and spent her adolescence as a cheerleader for CYO at St. Mary’s in Milton and at Milton High School, and followed in her mother’s footsteps as a model. Wendy was always creative and artistically inclined, and she went on to study Art History at Boston College, where she developed a love of studio arts and painting.
Wendy was fortunate to have parents who gave her so much love and support throughout her life. Their love helped shape Wendy’s sweet and gentle spirit, qualities she carried with her throughout her life.
Family was important to Wendy. She was very close to her aunts and uncle and especially cherished their summers in Falmouth on Cape Cod. She also spent several years happily caring for her Nanna Murray in Florida. Wendy never wanted to miss a special occasion for her sisters or her eight nieces and nephews, and always took great care in picking out the most thoughtful gifts.
Wendy found joy in life’s simple pleasures: a really good cup of coffee, a scenic drive along coastal Maine, fried clams at Wollaston Beach, or a slow morning on her parents’ deck. She had a deep love and appreciation for nature and animals, which she especially enjoyed during her time living in Vermont and when working at animal shelters.
Wendy is survived by her father, William Murray; her sisters, Kasie Pasquantonio and her husband, Jim, and their children, Cooper, Cullen, Holly, and Lilly; Rebecca Lauring and her husband, Matthew, and their children, James and Emily; and Jaimie Markey and her children, Owen and Ellie. She is also survived by her aunt, Karen Grey, and her uncle, Glenn Murray. Wendy was predeceased by her beloved mother, Susan Murray.
Wendy will be remembered with great love by her family and all those whose lives she touched. Her artistic spirit, gentle nature, love of animals, and appreciation for life's quiet joys will remain a lasting part of her memory.
