Marie McKnight, 86, of Scottsbluff, died Saturday, August 27, 2011 at her home with her family by her side. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel with LeRoy Sanford and Edwina Carlson officiating. Interment will be in East Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Prairie Haven Hospice or to Festival of Hope. Friends may call at the funeral home between 1-8:00 p.m. Monday. Marie was born September 22, 1924 in Lopez Island, WA to James and Bernice Biggs. She married John “JC” McKnight October 18, 1946. Unto this union were born Karen (Phil) Sandford, Jim (Diane) McKnight, Les (Eleanor) McKnight, Lynette (John) Booker, Candace (Rick) Crouch and Jon (Jacque) McKnight. She is survived by her husband, children, 15 grandkids, 7 bonus grandkids, 41 great grandkids and 1 great-great grandchild; and sister Betty L. Lewis.
