

Adam Salazar, 72, of Scottsbluff, died Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. His funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 13, 2010, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff with LeRoy Sandford, Edwina Carlson and Joyce Tuttle officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Friends may visit from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel. Adam was born December 23, 1937, at Willamar, Texas to Miguel and Simona (De La Cruz) Salazar. He married Guadalupe Reyna, March 11, 1961, at Valle Hermoso, Mexico. They moved from Mexico to Scottsbluff in the first week of March 1968. He has worked for Paul Reed Construction since 1985, to the present. Survivors include his wife, Guadalupe; sons, Javier (Carolyn) Salazar of Buda, Texas, Oscar (Kelli) Salazar of Scottsbluff, and Roberto (Bobbie Jo) Salazar of Bellevue; daughters, Olga (Jeff) Tabor of Humble, Texas, Hilda (Angel) Jimenez of Scottsbluff, and Carmen (Kurt) Jording of Scottsbluff; 28 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, Izabelah; three brothers; and four sisters. Adam was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Angela Mata; brother-in-law, Jacinto Rodriguez; and nephew, Fernando Salazar.
