Allen Dale Wolfe

Allen D. Wolfe, 67, passed away on July 20th, 2016 at the Western Nebraska Veterans Home in Scottsbluff, NE. A military gravesite service will be held at Sunset Memorial Cemetery Friday July 29th, 2016 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Mark Phillips officiating. Military honors by the Nebraska National Guard. Allen was born at Scottsbluff, NE on September 17th, 1948 to Manuel and Millie Wolfe. He received his education in Scottsbluff, NE and graduated in 1966. He enlisted in the Army in January 1967 and was honorably discharged in January 1970. While in the Army, he was decorated with many medals and badges for marksmanship. Afterwards, he went to work in the uranium industry in Wyoming, oil industry and as a realtor in Texas, gold industry in Nevada, and then returned to Scottsbluff. He will be remembered as a good person who loved his family, going to the races, Husker football, and his love of animals. Allen will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by sisters Carol Ziegler (Marvin), Keitha Ziegler, Glenda Ockinga, Valerie Hinman (Patrick) and many nieces and nephews.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Millie Wolfe, sister Fern Imus, brother Gordon Wolfe, brothers-in-law Francis Ockinga, Virgil Ziegler, and Jack Imus, and nephews Brad Ockinga and Daniel Lewis.
