Alyce Margaret Lewis, 90 of Bayard, Nebraska died Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Chimney Rock Villa in Bayard. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Scottsbluff with Father Don Buhrman officiating. Cremation was held. Inurnment will be at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. A vigil service will be Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at the Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be given to the St. Agnes or Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Alyce was born on October 21, 1918 in Lindsay, Nebraska to Antone John and Clara (Jostes) Dischner. She married Marshall Maurice Lewis on February 12, 1945 at Colorado Springs, CO. She is survived by Jane and Roy Ingram and family of Morrill, cousins, nephews, nieces and special friends, Mark and Kathy Rueb and family of Scottsbluff and Janet and Dan Dailey and family of Bayard and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Marshall, brothers, Arthur, Leonard and Edward Dischner.
