Bobby Wayne Black, 77, of Scottsbluff, died Monday, March 17, 2008, at Golden Living Center in Scottsbluff. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 21, 2008, at Lincoln Memorial Park in Lincoln. Visitation will be at Lincoln Memorial Park Funeral Home Thursday, March 20, 2008, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Bobby was born June 10, 1930, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Leroy and Ardella Inez (Hardy) Black. He received his education in Lincoln schools where he graduated from high school. He was employed by Nebraska Public Power District working in Lincoln, Ogallala and coming to Scottsbluff in 1983. He retired in 1989. Bobby married Verla M. Casburn June 25, 1965, in Lincoln. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and vegetable gardening and in the last few years completing jigsaw puzzles. Bobby was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and Elks Lodge #1367 of Scottsbluff. His is survived by his wife Verla of Scottsbluff. He was preceded in death by his parents.
