Christian Isaac Chavez arrived and passed on this earth August 17, 2008 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. He was the son of Travis Chavez and Kimberly Brackett of Gering. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2008 at the Church of the Nazarene in Scottsbluff with Pastor Darryl Potts officiating. Cremation was held at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory. Christian is survived by his parents, brothers Andrew 4 and Charles 2 of the home, grandparents: Kim and Tammie Brackett, and John and Sheryl Chavez, uncle John Chavez, and aunt Melinda Ensz , all of Scottsbluff, NE and aunt Tracy Ferre of Smith Center, Kansas.
