

Cynthia Sue Rein, 59, of Scottsbluff, died Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday August 15, 2009 at Faith Lutheran Church in Gering with Pastor Richard Neugebauer officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel between 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Friday. Cindy was born September 23, 1949 in Scottsbluff to David and Mollie (Weber) Kuxhausen. She grew up and received her education in Scottsbluff. She married Bill Rein May 15, 1967 in Scottsbluff. Cindy was a cosmetologist when her daughter began having health problems. She started a child care service in 1975 when her daughter Rebecca was diagnosed with cancer. This enabled her to stay at home to care for her daughter while helping other parents with day care. She continued the day care until 1993 when her daughter was admitted to a hospital in Salt Lake City. Cindy stayed with her until her death in November of 1994. Cindy was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, camping boating, fishing and loved selling Mary Kay products. Survivors include her husband Bill, sons: William (Rebecca) Rein, Jr. Virginia Beach, VA and Robert Rein, Scottsbluff, NE; daughter: Barbara (Mark) Demeranville, Gering, NE; grandchildren: William Rein III, Nichole Henderson, Hollie Tatomir, Jace, Cailin, and Indie Demeranville; great grandchildren Ashton and Landin; sisters: Sandra Reichert, Scottsbluff, NE, and Frances (Bob) Leis, California and brother: Larry (Jackie) Kuxhausen, Scottsbluff. Preceding her in death were her parents and daughter Rebecca.
