

Delores T. Dougherty, 70, of Scottsbluff, died Monday, May 29, 2006, at her home. A funeral mass will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 5, 2006, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Scottsbluff with Father James Golka officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Friends may visit from 1:00 to 6:00 P.M., Saturday and from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M., Sunday at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff. A rosary will be recited at 5:00 P.M., Sunday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Delores was born July 5, 1935, at McCook, Nebraska to Mike and Mary (Levano) Cuellar. She grew up at McCook and graduated from the McCook High School. She attended college at Lincoln and taught school at St. Theresa’s Catholic School in Lincoln. On June 4, 1960, she married Mark Dougherty at McCook. They moved to Gordon where he was a dentist and then to Chicago for him to finish at Northwestern University. In 1965, they moved to Scottsbluff where he was an orthodontist. Survivors include her son, Doug (Deanne) Dougherty of Louisville, Kentucky; daughters, Mary (Lon) Hascall of Gering; Theresa (Scott) Wilson of Fort Collins, Colorado; Susan Dougherty of Honolulu, Hawaii and Joan Dougherty of Louisville, Kentucky; daughter-in-law, Stacey Dougherty-Kline of Gering; eight grandchildren; brothers, Dan Cuellar of Omaha, John Cuellar of Missouri, Albert Cuellar and Richard Cuellar both of McCook; and sister, Jan Bittner of Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, David Dougherty; three sisters; and three brothers.
