

Dennis Duane Kindler, 67, of Gering, died Sunday, December 15, 2013 at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Monument Bible Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Jake Roberts officiating. Interment will be in West Lawn Cemetery in Gering. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com Dennis was born March 1, 1946 at Smith Center, Kansas to Aloyous Raymond and Opal Marguerite (Silsby) Kindler. He received his early education at Esbon, Kansas and his GED from South High School. He married Wendy Morris February 3, 1965 at Pocatello, ID. He worked on several ranches in Colorado and Nebraska as a cowhand. After an injury to his back he moved to Denver where he worked in hospital material management and most recently at Regional West Medical Center for five years before the illness treatment made him too sick to work. He is survived by his wife Wendy; sister: Linda O’Connor; son: Richard (fiancé Tracy Schaffer) Kindler; Aurora, CO; daughter: Misty (fiancé Chuck Taylor) Brownlow, Alliance, NE; Grandchildren: Richard “Ricky” Duane Kindler, Lakewood, CO, Brandon Robert Brownlow, Melissa Jean Brownlow both of Alliance, NE, Derek Snydy Kindler, Colorado Springs, CO and Cameron John Kindler, Aurora, CO; great grandchild: Jeremiah Neal Ellis, Alliance, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Raymond.
