Diana Hernandez Lopez

Diana Hernandez Lopez, age 7, of Scottsbluff, passed away at Rocky Mountain Children’s Hospital in Denver early Tuesday morning, March 3, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 6, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Scottsbluff with Father Jonathan Sorensen officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Visitation will be from 1-7 PM on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel with a Vigil service at 5:30 P.M. Memorials made be made in care of the family. Diana was born January 20, 2008 at Claxton, Georgia to Bertha Lopez and Julio Hernandez. The family recently moved to Scottsbluff where Diana was a 1st grader at Westmoor Elementary. Diana was always happy and radiated that out to everyone around her. One of her favorite things to do was sing and dance. She will always be remembered for her smile and enthusiasm.

Diana was survived by parents Bertha Lopez-Chairez of Scottsbluff, Julio Hernandez of Scottsbluff; sister Alma Machado of Mexico; aunt and uncle Elizabeth and Pedro Hernandez of Scottsbluff; uncle Arnulfo (Coy) Hernandez of Scottsbluff; cousins Diana Hernandez, Priscilla Hernandez, and Elizabeth Hernandez all of Scottsbluff; and numerous friends and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her brother Leobardo Lopez and grandparents.
