Doris was born on July 24, 1937 to Fred and Thelma (Chadd) Mogensen in North Platte, Nebraska. She married Duane Foote on April 7, 1957 at United Methodist Church in Scottsbluff and made their home in the Scottsbluff/Gering area.
She is survived by her daughters Tammy (Tom) Flaherty of Tennessee and Lori (Bryon) Wilson of Scottsbluff; grandchildren Shaun (Mandy) Flaherty, Hollie (Jarrod) Williams, Jason (Andrea) Flaherty and Cody (Ally) Wilson; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Thelma Mogensen, husband Duane, sister Bev (Ronald) Jordan and sister Shirley Pollet.
