

Dorothy Flint, 84, of Scottsbluff passed away Thursday, September 21, 2006 at WEL-Life at Scottsbluff. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday September 26, 2006 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Carroll A. Plisek officiating. Interment will be in High Butte Cemetery in McGrew. Friends may call at the funeral home between 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Monday and an hour prior to the funeral. Dorothy was born March 8, 1922 in McGrew, NE to John and Marie (Johnson) Grim. She received her education in McGrew graduating from McGrew High School in 1939. She attended Chadron State Teacher’s College where she received her teaching certificate. She taught country school south of McGrew before moving to Lyman where she also was a teacher. In 1965 she was employed by the Postal Service where she was a clerk until her retirement in 1985. In July 2002 she moved to WEL-Life in Scottsbluff. She married Charles L. (Chuck) Flint January 1, 1946 in Scottsbluff. Dorothy was a member of the Lyman-Henry United Methodist Church and was a past member of the Lyman Library Board. She is survived by her sons, Keith Flint and John Flint both of Scottsbluff; daughter Nancy and son-in-law Steve Rein of Lincoln, NE; brother: Harlan Grim of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren: Stephanie (David) Pritchard of Scottsbluff, Paula and Richard Scott of Littleton, CO, Kyle and Jamie Flint of Scottsbluff, Eric (Cindy)Rein of Omaha, NE and Heather (Dennis) Leschinsky of Lincoln, NE; great grandchildren: Meghan, Justin, and Nathan Pritchard, Emma and Ethan Scott, Shelby, Abigail, Brittany and Paul Leschinsky and Erica Rein. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Charles, Maurice, George, Francis and Jack Grim, sister, Lorene an infant sister and daughter-in-law: Suzanne Flint.
