Elsie Jeanne Fees

Her memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jake Roberts officiating. Inurnment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com.

Jeanne was born August 30, 1929 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Otto Reid and Elsie (Bisch) Klemp. She graduated from high school in St. Joseph. She graduated from Nursing School in Scottsbluff. ON March 4, 1951, Jeanne married Gene at St. Joseph, Missouri. They made their home in Scottsbluff and Gering. She was a nurse at General Hospital in Scottsbluff from 1951-1956. She left nursing to work as a civil servant at the Post Office in Gering. She retired in 1990.

Jeanne enjoyed traveling, golf and square dancing. She also enjoyed camping with the Good Sam Clubs, Wagon Wheel Sams and Wildcat Hills Sams.

She loved to help her daughter-in-law with trips to the casino.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Anita Fees of Gering; grandchildren Dawn Graves of Gering and David Fees of Scottsbluff; great grandchildren Christian Fees, Kaitlyn Fees, Michael Graves, Jr. and Scott Graves and great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, son Gene Jr., daughter Patricia Ann and grandson Scott Fees.
