A viewing will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 5-7 pm at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel. Cremation will follow. Private inurnment at Fairview Cemetery.

James was born on July 3, 1967, in Watseka, Illinois to James Russell Edwards and Bonnie Key. He received his early education in the Wyoming, graduating from Rawlins High School in Rawlins, WY.
He married Shelley Olinger on July 6, 2006, in Central Park in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and made their home in Cheyenne, WY.
James was a member of Mr. J's Diecast Collectables and More.
James had a passion for the car scene throughout his childhood, especially care stereos and fancy rides. He loved to ride his Harley any chance he got. He had a hobby for collecting diecast cars. Also trading and selling them to build up a themed collection. James started customizing cars to give to his kids and grandkids. He absolutely loved his grandkids and his three kids.
He is survived by his daughter Jessica Edwards, son Chris Edwards; grandkids Chloe, Cliff, Grace and Hadley Edwards, Summer Wilson, Avery Gillett and niece Carrisa Crawford.
James was preceded in death by his daughter Alayna Edwards, wife Shelley Edwards, sister Marsha Rhode, brother David Edwards and mother Bonnie Todd.
