

Janice Kay Borgman, 76 beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Janice Kay Borgman of Holland, Michigan passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones on August 18, 2024.
Janice was born at Holland Hospital to Arlene Janet Schrotenboer and Maynard Reimink. She attended Hamilton Elementary, graduated from Hamilton High School in 1966, and graduated from St. Mary’s Nursing School in 1968. She then was an ICU Nurse for the next 30 years. She married Jacob Frederick Borgman on June 14, 1969 at Hamilton Christian Reform Church in Hamilton, Michigan and made their home in San Diego, California in 1969 before moving to Gering, Nebraska in 2021.
Janice enjoyed many hobbies including: sewing, crocheting, gardening, baking, running around with her grandkids, doing her Sudoku puzzles, watching her favorite movies like Dirty Dancing or Equalizer 3, and most importantly she loved munching on some sweets.
Janice is survived by her loving husband Jacob, her 2 children Alison (Steve) Wells and Colin Borgman. Her 10 grandchildren: Ethan Wells, Cora Sandoval, Kaila (Tim) McDavid, Raemona Sandoval, Cheyenne (Trent) Borgman-Abshire, Savanna Borgman, Jacob Wells, Isaiah Borgman, Connar Borgman, and Blayke Borgman. Her 4 great grandchildren Payton Ferreyra, Carlyrose Sandoval, Lincoln Abshire, and Kobe McDavid and lots of other family members.
Janice is preceded in death by her mother Arlene, father Maynard, sister Dawn and brother Dan.
She will be greatly missed here on earth, but now she fly’s with hummingbirds watching over us.
