

Jean L. “Weezer” Craig, 43, of Minatare, died Sunday, December 30, 2007, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. Her memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 4, 2008, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff with Pastor Michael Stein officiating. Cremation was at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory in Scottsbluff. Memorials may be made to the Jean Craig Memorial Fund. Jean was born March 3, 1964, at Painesville, Ohio to Earl and Helen (Legat) Kennedy. Her family then moved to Colorado and later to Rock Springs, Wyoming where she graduated from high school. Darrell and Jean moved to Minatare in 1985. Survivors include her husband, Darrell Craig; sons Paul (Kelsey) Craig of Scottsbluff and Willie Craig of Minatare; daughters, Samantha Craig, Elizabeth Craig and Destiny Craig all of Minatare; grandson, Isaiah Craig; step-son, Jeff (Rose) Craig of Gurley; step-daughter, Melissa (Gerald) Poe of Juneau, Alaska; eight step-grandchildren; parents, Earl and Helen Kennedy of Rock Springs, Wyoming; sisters, Lisa (Michael) Oja of Clarkston, Michigan and Sue (Michael) Halligan of Salt Lake City, Utah; brother, David (Julie) Kennedy of Kansas City, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her grandparents, and step-grandson, Trenton Craig.
