John Martin Feltes II

John Martin Feltes II, 53, of Scottsbluff, went to his final resting place to be with his savior Jesus Christ on Sunday June 10th, 2012. His funeral service will be held Saturday June 16th at the First United Methodist Church of Scottsbluff at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Matt Fowler officiating. Friends may visit Friday June 15th from 9 am to 8 pm at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff. Memorials may be given to The First United Methodist Church of Scottsbluff or to John’s family. John was born April 16th, 1959 in Denver, CO – son of Alvin and Novella Feltes. John was raised most of his life in North Platte, NE. He later moved to Valentine, NE to go to work for his dad in the mobile home business. While living in Valentine, John had a daughter, Jessica born on Feb. 6th, 1982. In 1984 John moved to Scottsbluff and married the love of his life, Belinda Block. To this union, John & Belinda had a son, Ryan, born July 16th, 1985. John worked for various construction companies in the Scottsbluff Valley and was involved in most of Scottsbluff’s commercial building projects. John was involved with the Gering Jaycees and his son’s baseball teams, and he also loved working in his garden. John will be remembered mostly for his love & devotion for his wife, children & grandchildren. John is survived by his wife Belinda of Scottsbluff, daughter Jessica Feltes of Valentine, son Ryan (Kenzy) Feltes of Scottsbluff, grandchildren Jordon Dittmer and Olivia & Tripp Adams of Valentine and Cooper Feltes of Scottsbluff, sister Deb (Rick) Barton of North Platte and brother Tom (Kathy) Feltes of Lexington. Preceding John in death were his mother and father.
