

John Bradley Vance Sr., 62, of Gering, Nebraska passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 2:30 PM at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff. John was born on January 28, 1956 to Bill E. and Wilda M. (Brown) Vance in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He spent most of his life in the Wyo-Nebraska area. On February 18, 1984, John married the love of his life, Tina McCloud and together they had four children: Becky, Aggie, John Jr., and Jerry, and one furry child, Winston. For 25 years he worked for Union Pacific Railroad and recently retired. He enjoyed playing music and throughout the years was a member of several local bands. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, barbecuing and drinking beer, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Tina, children Becky (Dennis) Nepper and their daughter Aspen “Tater Bug”, Aggie (Nik Young) Vance and their children: Garrett, Paris, Katie, and Keagan; John Jr. (Amanda) Vance and their children Addison, Tucker, and Lincoln, and Jerry (Stacie) Vance and their daughter Aubree, his beloved dog, Winston, father Bill E. Vance, brother Billy (Brenda) Vance, sister Dee Mowrey, and numerous other family members.
He is preceded in death by his mother Wilda Vance, mother in law Zoa, sister in law Shirley, and brother in law Eddie.
