Obituary of Lawanna Grace Haffner
IN THE CARE OF

Dugan-Kramer Funeral Home & Crematory

LaWanna Haffner, beloved mother, grandmother, sibling, wife, and friend to many, passed away on August 4, 2026, at the age of 82. Cremation has taken place and no Memorial Services are scheduled at this time.

Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel is in charge of LaWanna’s care and funeral arrangements.

Fond memories can be left for the family at DuganKramer.com.

Born on October 9, 1943, in Welty, Oklahoma, LaWanna was the fourth of six children born to Luther and Effie Gregory.

A lover of all things pink, flowers, and butterflies, LaWanna was most passionate about cooking and her church family. She could often be found baking or watching baking shows. Those who knew her will remember her delicious home-cooked meals and her kind, accepting, and forgiving nature.

Above all else, LaWanna was a devoted mother and dedicated homemaker. She raised four children with love and an unwavering faith in the Lord. Her home was always open, and she never met a stranger. She loved deeply and was a friend to everyone who crossed her path.

She is survived by her children, Vicki Walgren (Charles Walgren), Vanessa Wilson, and Vince Gregory (Kristie Gregory); her siblings, Verneal Maze, Virginia Harris, and Jerald Gregory; as well as multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Donald Gregory and Barbara Marlowe; her husband, James Haffner Sr.; and her son, Vernon Gregory.

The family asks that you honor her memory by calling someone you love today, extending kindness to those around you, and spending time with the Lord, just as LaWanna faithfully did throughout her life. A small graveside service will be held for family and close friends.
