Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 1:30 pm at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel with Nancy Severin officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Gering. Linda was born on June26, 1947 in Denver, Colorado to Raymond G and Sue M. (Wyatt) Schaeffler. She graduated from South Denver High School and attended Colorado State University, graduating with a BA in Education.
She married Kenneth J Hauck on December 12, 2004 in Las Vegas, NV and made their home in Gering.
Linda was an Educator at numerous places. She loved anything that brought beauty – gardening and stained glass creations. She was an avid Denver Broncos fan.
She is survived by her husband Ken; Chad Hauck (Tara) and family, A.J. Hauck (Brandy) and family; Cindy (Ryan) Koch and Kenny Hauck; sisters Nancy Severin (Mike) and family, Judith Laursen and nieces Angie Bowles (Brett) and family, Chelsea Crowell (Mike) and family, Lexi Hutchison (Andrew) and nephews Steven Severin and family and Brett Laursen (Tanya) and family.
Linda was preceded in death by her 1st husband C. Richard Williams, her parents, niece Stacie, and granddaughter Arin.
