Lorenzo Alsidez

Lorenzo Alsidez III, 49, of Minatare, died Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. Visitation will be held from 1-7 PM on Sunday, May 8, 2016 and his funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, May 9, 2016 both at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff. Lorenzo was born September 12, 1966 at Torrington, Wyoming to Lorenzo, Jr. and Jane Alsidez. He received his education in Morrill. He and Sophie Acevedo had a 16 year relationship and three beautiful daughters. Lorenzo married the love of his life Kristy Chastain on February 25, 2015.

Lorenzo lived life to the fullest and he played by his own set of rules. He could “fix anything but a broken heart.” He said, “I wasn’t much of a husband, but I was one hell of a dad.” The family says he was a great husband and father! Lorenzo enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and enjoyed fishing.

Lorenzo is survived by his wife Kristy Alsidez; daughters Vanity “Kiki” Acevedo, Veronica (Don) “Verro” Acevedo, and Victoria “Toya” Alsidez; son Lorenzo Ray Alsidez; mother of his daughters Sophie Acevedo; bonus kids Nikkii Winters, Alexia Pate, Eddie Winters, Michael Winters, Paul Winters; grandkids Israel, Juan, Maryjane, DJ, Shane, Josh, Wyatt, Nico, Pelon, Adrian, Airyana, Ariel, Lil Eddie, Dominic, Izzy, Adelina, Aliya, Adena, and Arron; parents Lorenzo Jr. and Jane Alsidez; sisters Christina, Becky, and Amanda; brother Augie; nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members including aunts Ynez and Gloria and cousin Joe Alsidez.

Lorenzo was preceded in death by his grandparents Nana Toni, Refugia Alsidez, Lorenzo Sr, and cousins Franky and Anthony.
