Marian Joan Watson

Marian Joan Watson, 81, of Gering, passed away surrounded by her family at her home on Sunday, February 25, 2018. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 2:00pm at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Doug Kenner officiating. Condolences for the family can be left at www.dugankramer.com Marian was born on May 03, 1936 to Louis and Marjorie (Peterson) Niles in Neligh, Nebraska. On July 5, 1955, she married Clifford A. Watson in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. From this union three children were born: Debbie, Rhonda, and Lorrie. The couple stayed in the valley and in 1972 bought Fitzkam Plumbing, where Marian did the bookkeeping.

Marian enjoyed reading, snuggling babies, and fishing. She loved spending time her family and all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Debbie Watson of Gering, Rhonda (Michael Palomino) Eiland of Phoenix, AZ, and Lorrie Watson of Cheyenne, WY; grandchildren Jason (Tiffany) Richard, Hilary (Kenny) Heller, Aaron (Sekai) Colling, Mandie (Chad) McPherson, Jasmine (Rozy) Arizmendez, Nathan (Brooke) Kuxhausen; sisters Alice Eirich and Muriel Bright; loving niece Shauna Kohler, and many other family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Clifford Watson, grandsons Cody, Isreal, and Joseph Nicholas, brother Bob Watson, and sister Leona Jefson.
