

Mark Alan Hauck, 46, of Omaha, formerly of Scottsbluff-Gering, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in Omaha. His memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 4, 2008, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff with Pastor Al Wilson officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Nebraska National Guard. Cremation was at Autumn Hills Crematory in Omaha. Memorials have been established to the Siena Francis House in Omaha. Mark was born April 22, 1961, at Scottsbluff to Dale and Patricia (Weddell) Hauck. He graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1979. He played football all through high school and was starting tackle on the West All-Stars Team. He enlisted in the Army National Guard in 1983 and became a cannon crewman and received an Army Service Ribbon for Sharpshooting. He was honorably discharged in 1990. Mark was a skilled craftsman, jack of all trades and loved to work with his hands. He loved his family and will be missed by all. Survivors include his father, Dale Hauck of Gering; his mother, Patti Wysocki of Gering; children, Kosha Johnson of Morrill, Garrison Hauck and Chelsy Hauck both of Fort Collins, Colorado; granddaughter, Hanah Johnson; and grandparents, Doug and Betty Weddell of Gering. He was preceded in death by his fiancée, Pam Hohnstein.
