

Mary Ina Einsel, 94, of Scottsbluff, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until the funeral service which will be held at 1 PM on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel. Pastor Giles Armstrong is officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for a designation at a later time. Online condolences may be left at www.dugankramer.com
Mary Ina was born June 26, 1922 at Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Otho Frank ""O.F."" and Ethelyn (Brummett) Knoles. She received her education in the Scottsbluff and Gering schools. On November 19, 1939, Mary Ina was united in marriage to Ellis Eugene Einsel at Harrisburg, Nebraska. The couple made their home and raised their family in the Scottsbluff and Gering area. They had celebrated 54 years of marriage when Ellis passed away in 1993.
Mary Ina was a busy homemaker who cared for and cherished each of the relationships she had with her family members many of whom she helped raise. She was a charter member of the Church at Bryant now known as WestWay. Her civic memberships included the Royal Neighbors, DOES, and DAR. She was an Avon representative for 30 plus years making many long-lasting friendships. Her hobbies included crocheting, sewing, and baking including her mints, cakes, and big cookies.
Mary Ina will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who had a strong belief in Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Mary Ina is survived by her daughters Janet Wilson (Tom Nuss) of Scottsbluff and Debe (Terry) Thompson of Ogallala, NE; daughter-in-law Judy White of Bayard; grandchildren Craig (Carlene) Wilson, Bryon (Lori) Wilson, Cindy (Dave) Blauvelt, Troy Wilson, Stefani Thompson, Melissa (Jason) White, and Kym (Neil) Fries; 21 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Peggy Knoles; brother-in-law Elvin (Marlene) Einsel; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Mary Ina was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Polly Gene Einsel, son Steven James Einsel, granddaughter Melodee Crews, grandson Larry Wilson, Jr., great-grandson Fernando Wilson, sons-in-law Larry Wilson and Roy Sauer, brothers Jim and Dennis Knoles, sisters Mona Baltes and Esther Lundstrom, and special nephew Robert Baltes.
