

Mellissa Fay (DeMaranville) Madden, age 23, of Scottsbluff, died Sunday, April 9, 2006, at Regional West Medical Center, Scottsbluff. A funeral service will be 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at Monument Bible Church, Scottsbluff with Pastors Jake Roberts and Dan Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Scottsbluff. Friends may visit from 1:00 to 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel, Scottsbluff. The casket will be closed at the church. Mellissa was born July 29, 1982, at Scottsbluff to Roger and Rita (Pritchard) DeMaranville. She grew up and attended elementary schools at Scottsbluff. She attended high school at Minatare and graduated from the Minatare High School in 2000. She then worked at Sykes for a year and a half. On January 27, 2001, she married Jeremy Madden at Scottsbluff. She worked as a legal assistant for attorney’s Leonard Tabor and was currently working for Robert Pahlke. While in high school she was a cheerleader for two years and on the honor roll. Survivors include her husband, Jeremy Madden; daughters, Abigail and Samantha Madden; parents, Roger (Deb) DeMaranville and Rita Mills all of Scottsbluff; brother, Jeremy DeMaranville and his fiancée Stacey Ullrich of Bakersfield, California; sisters, Anne, Kari and Megan DeMaranville and Heather Mills all of Scottsbluff; grandmothers, Dorothy DeMaranville of Gering; Willma Pritchard of Scottsbluff and Shirley Fraker of Julesburg, Colorado; uncles, Edward (Andera) Pritchard of Gering and Ted (Deb) Pritchard of Minatare; and several cousins. Her grandfather, Carl DeMaranville, preceded her in death.
