Michael Lloyd Chatterton

Michael Lloyd Chatterton, 48, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. Per Michael’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Michael was born on June 04, 1970 at La Junta, Colorado to Lloyd and Maxine (Sterkel) Chatterton. He received his early education in Scottsbluff and continued his education at WNCC and UNCC.

Mike was an excellent marksman and won many awards in local competitive events.

He excelled in the world of technology and was very tech savvy. He worked as a manager at our local Radio Shack for many years before the business closed. He will always be remembered as the “Radio Shack Guy”. He was also a computer analysis at Vertex in Scottsbluff, NE.

He is survived by his sisters Dixie (Rodney) (Gompert) Hampton of Mitchell, Donna (Deny) (gompert) Dykes, and special sister Tari Haffner of Bismarch, North Dakota; special friend Tabbi Hollm, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Julie Chatterton, parents Lloyd and Maxine Chatterton, brother Gene Gompert, and sister Dianne Nabors.

Michael will always be remembered for his kind heart, generous nature and his love for his family and animals.
