Michael A. Ferreyra

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA- Michael A. Ferreyra, 49 , was granted his angel wings on October 14, 2013. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that he had touched in some way though out his memorable life. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel with a meal to follow. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com. Mike was born November 7, 1963 to Albert and Cheryl (Uhrich) Ferreyra. He grew up and attended school in Scottsbluff. He graduated in 1981. He married Catherine Dorador February 14, 1984. They moved to Las Vegas, where they raised their children. Mike’s life would seem too short to many but those who were touched by him understand the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which he lived. His big heart and gentle smile brought so much joy to our family. Mike gave us courage and hope. He reminded us of how precious life and family are. Mike love to watch the Huskers and the Broncos play. He enjoyed music and spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed spending quality time with his soul mate, Cat. Mike is survived by his wife Cathy, son Michael, daughters Jacquelyn and Stephanie (Rick). His mother Cheryl, brothers David (Linda), Doug (Jodi) and Tim (Dahlia) Ferreyra. His grandchildren: Noah, Ricky, Erick, Madi, Nico and Jennifer, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Albert Ferreyra, paternal grandparents Henry and Nellie Ferreyra. God has given us one more angel. You will forever be in our hearts. We love you dearly and you will never be forgotten.
