

Myron “Bud” Lang passed away peacefully October 27, 2021. Cremation has taken place and the family will hold a private family service. Myron was born December 22, 1942 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Harry and Mabel (Stueckrath).
After attending Scottsbluff Public Schools, Bud met his wife to be, Sharon (Steffens). They were married in Harrisburg Nebraska on February 11th 1961. Forever together for over 60 years.
He fulfilled his dream of having three boys and owning his own business. After working for Lockwood Corporation for over 20 years, he owned Sanitary Specialty for 5 years, then Scottsbluff Tent & Awning where he worked for over 30 years before retiring. His customers loved to stop by and visit with him.
He loved welding, building things, working on old cars, country dancing, listening to music and making music cd’s, taking pictures, making family videos and slide shows. Bud and Sharon treasured the holidays and always made sure they were extra special for their family and friends.
He always enjoyed having a sweet treat or a cup of coffee with his cookies; each evening he looked forward to a bowl of ice cream with Sharon.
Bud will be remembered as one of the most patient, kind hearted, fair, hard-working individual you will ever met. His witty comebacks and joking sense of humor with kids and family made everyone laugh.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon; sons Mike (JoDee), Scott (Lucy) and Kevin (Kim); seven grandchildren, Brandon, Jennifer, Travis, Tyler, Christopher, Ashlyn, Sarah; five great-grandchildren Willow, Walker, Ryker, Daxton and Grayson.
He was proceeded in his death by his parents, brothers Dale, Marion, Dean, sister Harriet, half-brother Kenneth, half-sister Betty.
