Patricia Elaine Roth

Patricia Elaine Roth, 68, of Scottsbluff, passed away Friday, January 11 at Regional West Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel with Rev. Charles Richardson officiating. Interment will be at the East Lawn Cemetery in Minatare. Friends may call at Dugan – Kramer Funeral Chapel between 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time Monday. Patricia was born February 18, 1939 to John and Rachel Ebsen in Gordon, NE. She received her education in the Gordon, Mitchell, and Scottsbluff Public Schools. She graduated from Sunflower High School in 1956. She married Kenneth LeRoy Roth on April 14, 1957 in Gordon, NE. After her marriage to Ken, they moved to Philadelphia to follow Ken’s naval career. They resided in Watertown and Rapid City, SD, before moving back to Scottsbluff to assist with her parents’ business, Ebsen’s Cafeteria. Patricia’s employment history ranged from working in a music store, bank, and CPA office. She established a solid customer base for private income tax needs. Patricia enjoyed playing the piano, dancing, gardening, boating, camping, and following her children and grandchildren’s athletic pursuits. She was a great cook and enjoyed preparing and canning produce from her garden. She cherished the opportunity to spend quality time with family, friends, and her grand dog, “Buddy.” She is survived by sister and brother-in-law: Beverly Shaw and Jim, Rapid City, SD; sister-in-law: Audrey Ebsen, Hulett, WY; son and daughter-in-law: Ken Roth Jr. and Nancy of Kearney, NE; daughter and son-in-law: Lana K. Parmenter and Paul of Scottsbluff; Grandchildren: Jared and Kayla Roth of Kearney, NE; Nephew: Larry Lee Ebsen Jr of Rapid City, SD; niece: Stephanne K. Ebsen of Boston, MA, niece: Cassie A. Shaw of Rapid City, SD, nephew: Troy Martin of Martin, SD and Grand dog “Buddy” of Scottsbluff. Her husband, parents, brother and sister-in-law preceded her in death.
