Randy E. West

Randall E. “Randy” West, 57, of Mitchell, died Monday, June 20, 2011, at his uncle’s home in Echo, Oregon. His funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 27, 2011, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff with Pastor Ed Hunzeker officiating. Interment will follow in the Mitchell Valley Cemetery. Friends may visit from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff. A memorial has been established in care of the family. Randy was born December 11, 1953, in Scottsbluff to Don and Helen West. He graduated from Scottsbluff High School with the class of 1972. He married Susan Kuxhausen in January 1983, and was the love of her life. He owned and operated a ground spraying business in Oregon and worked with his uncle, Lanny West. Randy had a love for airplanes and tractors his entire life. Survivors include his wife, Susan; son, A.J. (Kelsey) Kuxhausen; his beloved grandchildren, Dru and Kinley Kuxhausen; mother, Helen West; brothers, Steve, Keith, and Bill (Candace); sister, Tami; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his dad, Don; and brother, Mike.
