Reinhardt (Reiny) Feil Jr of Scottsbluff died November 3rd, 2024. His memorial service will be held on November 19th at Noon at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff. Inurnment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Refreshments to follow at Dugan Kramer.
Reiny was born April 27th, 1934, in Bayard, NE to Reinhardt and Eva (Schaffer) Feil. He attended Mitchell Valley and Bayard schools and finished the 8th grade and learned all he needed to know and went to work on the farm with his dad.
On December 16th, 1956, Reiny was married to Donna Kropp at Hope Congregational Church in Bayard, Nebraska. To this union 3 sons Kurtis, Terry and Corey were born. Reiny was drafted into the U.S Army in February 1957, where he served from 1957-1959 and Army Reserve until 1963. While in the Army Reiny received his GED education and worked as a medic in the Army. After his Tour of Service, Reiny and Donna returned to the Valley and farmed for over 20 years. Reiny and Donna moved to Scottsbluff in 1985. Reiny Retired from Midwest Disposal in 2000.
Reiny loved to assist the elderly and anyone that needed help. Reiny enjoyed restoring antique cars and going to coffee with his buddies. His children were his pride and joy along with the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Reiny is survived by his sons Kurt (Pam), Terry (Cindy), Corey (Holly); 10 grandchildren,13 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild. Sisters Delores Pfenning, Shirley Vogel, Brother-in-Law Bob Kropp, Sisters-in-law Judy (Rick) Meter and Mary Ellen Kropp, Laurie Feil.
Reiny was preceded in death by his wife Donna his parents, brother Fred Feil, daughter-in-law Jeri Feil. Sisters-in-law Violet Troudt, Connie Kropp. Brothers-in-law Roy Pfenning, Howard Vogel, Lyle Kropp, Eugene Kropp, James Kropp, Walter Prester and Raymond Troudt.
