

Robert L. “Bob” Kreiling, 50, of Minatare, passed away suddenly Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. His memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2008, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff with Pastor Michael Stein officiating. Inurnment will be in the East Lawn Cemetery in Minatare with military honors provided by the Nebraska National Guard. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for the love of his life, granddaughter Alicia Hardin’s education. Bob was born August 9, 1957, in Scottsbluff to George Sr. and LaVonne (Dittman) Kreiling. He grew up in Minatare and was confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church. After obtaining his GED, Bob enlisted in the United States Army. After being honorably discharged, he served with the National Guard. He installed alarm systems for Nebraska Safety and Fire. He was permanently disabled due to a work related injury. He met and married Sindy Hardin on February 27, 1988, in Scottsbluff. With his marriage he also felt blessed to become Dad to his girls, Ruby and Becky Hardin. Bob’s love of the USA could be seen in his vast collection of eagles. The roar of the Harley sent his pulse racing. Like his father, he loved working with his hands. But he would drop everything to spend time with Alicia. He will be deeply missed by wife Sindy; daughters, Ruby and Becky Hardin; granddaughter, Alicia; mother, LaVonne Kreiling of Minatare; brothers and their wives, George Jr. and Deb Kreiling of Colorado, Kenneth and Becky Kreiling of Texas and Larry and Liz of Minatare; uncles, Monroe and Peggy Kreiling of Minatare, Darrell and Joyce Kreiling of Scottsbluff and Bud and Mildred Dittman of Florida; aunts, Ruth “Tootsie” Neal of Scottsbluff and Elaine Dittman of California; nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father, uncles, aunts and cousins.
