Rosalinda Guerra

Rosalinda Guerra, 66, of Scottsbluff went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Golden Living Center in Scottsbluff. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff with Pastor Dale Brown officiating. Cremation will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory. A memorial for Rosalinda has been established at Valley Bank and Trust. Friends may call at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel Friday between 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rosalinda was born January 16, 1944 at Eden, Texas to Francisco and Catarina (Plasencio) Garcia. She received her early education at Paducah Junior High at Paducah, TX. She married Gregorio T. Guerra December 22, 1961 at Paducah. They have made their home in Scottsbluff since 1967. Rosalinda loved to play bingo at the VFW, Moose Lodge and especially at the Knights of Columbus. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and sister-in-law. She is survived by her husband Gregorio T. Guerra, Scottsbluff; daughter: Debra A. Guerra, Scottsbluff; sons: Gregorio Guerra, III and Martin Lee (Sheri) Guerra both of Scottsbluff; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; mother: Catarina Garcia, Scottsbluff; sisters: Lydia (Manuel) Cortinez, Mitchell, NE, Lucy Rodriguez (Jesse Sauceda), Mitchell, NE; Mary (Hector) Mata, Cathy (Ramiro) Anaya, Sylvia (Armando) Ramirez and Dahlia (Gabriel) Anaya all of Scottsbluff; Fernando (Lucy) Garcia, Gering, NE, Armando (Maria) Garcia, Minatare, NE, Roy (Janie) Garcia, Hereford, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Francisco, brothers Frank and Ernest Garcia, and two nephews Manuel Cortinez Jr. and Hector Mata Jr.
