

Salvador Lopez, III, 57, of Scottsbluff died Sunday, June 17, 2007 at his home with his family by his side. A funeral mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Fr. Phil Flott officiating. Cremation will be held following the service at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory. A rosary will be recited 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2007 at the church. Friends may call at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel between 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Tuesday. Salvador was born February 9, 1950 in Laredo, Texas to Salvador and Emma (Perez) Lopez, Jr. He received his education in Laredo, Texas. He married Eulalia Reserndiz December 2, 1972 in Laredo. He worked for the LaPosada Hotel in Laredo until 1976 when they moved to Scottsbluff. He was employed at Gra Mar Manor and later Lockwood Corporation until ill health forced his retirement in 1989. Sal was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, collected coins, attended auctions and loved to watch professional wrestling. He is survived by his wife: Eulalia; daughter: Emma (Jose) Duarte of Scottsbluff; son: Salvador (Deanna) Lopez IV of Scottsbluff; granddaughters: Valeria Duarte and Liliara Duarte; father: Salvador Lopez, Jr., Laredo, Texas; brothers and sisters: Guadalupe (Artemio) Pena, Laredo, TX, Maria Luisa (Rogelio) Macias, Laredo, TX, Joaquin (Consuelo) Lopez, Houston, TX, San Juanita (Laurence) Bruni, Laredo, TX and Ricardo (Yolanda) Lopez of Houston, TX; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his mother.
