

Her memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at The Rock Church with Pastor Tyson Lambertson officiating. Inurnment will follow at Fairview Cemetery with military honors by the Nebraska Army National Guard. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family. Sue was born July 1, 19147 to Lawrence and Helen (Williams) Asbridge in Flat River, Missouri. She enlisted in the Women’s Army Corp (WAC) in 1965. She served State-side as a clerk typist, keypunch operator and traveled with the Third United States Army Soldier Show, while stationed at Ft. McPhearson, Georgia. She was honorably discharged in 1968. She continued to serve her country through being an active Life Member of Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. She held Commander office for Unit 12 Alliance, NE; Past offices of Adjutant for Unit 10 Scottsbluff, NE and State Commander of DAV Auxiliary; VAVS State Representatives at Western Nebraska Veterans Home. She shared her God given vocal talent for many Veteran programs.
She lived her life as a proud wife, mother, grandmother and Vietnam Veteran. Sue was a friend to all she met. She talked highly of all the children she cared for in the Morrill County area.
Sue is survived by her husband Arthur Juede and son John “David” Jones, II (Tami) all of Scottsbluff; grandchildren: Marriah Jones and Dawson Jones of Scottsbluff; sisters Donna Martin of Bonne Terre, MO and Cheryl Dickson of Sedalia, MO; stepsons Arthur Juede, Jr and family of Ozark, MO and Carl Juede and family of Springfield, MO; four nieces, two nephews and their children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both grandparents, infant daughter Shelia, infant granddaughter Kaziah Jones, 1st husband John David Jones and brothers-in-law Jim Martin and Robert Dickson.
