Susan Kay Bosn

Susan Kay Bosn, 60, of Scottsbluff, died Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff following a six week courageous battle with cancer. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Scottsbluff with Father Vince Parsons officiating. Friends may call at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff between noon and 8:00 p.m. Monday. A prayer vigil will be held 6:30 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. A memorial has been established to Circle of Friends at Regional West Medical Center. Susan was born July 17, 1949, in Sidney, Nebraska to William and Irene (Domeier) Mika. She graduated from Sidney High School in 1967. She was employed by Cabela’s in Sidney. Susan married Richard Bosn May 4, 1974, in Sidney. They moved to Scottsbluff that same year where she worked at the Skyport Restaurant. To this union two children were born, Kimberly and Brian. Susan loved spending time with her family, shopping, dancing and babysitting, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Richard; daughter Kimberly (Loren) Lilley, Scottsbluff; son Brian of the home; granddaughters Kayla and Breanne Lilley; brothers William (Karoleen) Mika, Sidney, Dennis Mika, Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania and Robert (Chong) Mika, Lincoln; sister Virginia Campbell, Sidney; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Her parents, sister-in-law Kathy Mika and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins preceded her in death.
